He's a brave one

Eric Cantor cancels his "economic equality speech" the basic premise of which is "be nice to rich people" because a few of the proles may be out in the audience and deign him less than satisfactory. I believe it can be summarized thusly: Oh, here's a line in the speech:

"Through his example, you can see that America needs more than a jobs plan. It needs a Steve Jobs plan"

So, America needs to die?

Oh, good plan.

Nothing from The Little Grey Apple is made here. Yeah, America needs to outsource the rest of its manufacturing base to foreign factories where employees make less than a dollar an hour, and are so harassed they regularly commit suicide. That'll solve everything that's wrong with this country, fer sure.

BTW, Eric -- America's already contracted a debilitating and fatal cancer. You.

Have a nice day.

steve jobs plan

economist richard wolff points out the kind of startups that end up in silicon valley, the ones where the originators are self employed and act as their own board of directors in deciding how to run things - this is actually a marxist model.

nice to see cantor call for more marxism.
