What can you even say any more?

Top Kill failed, sea bottom kill probably pretty much finished.

One has a feeling if there's a Forest Gump 2 (please, no!), Tony Hayward is going to be in the background while Forest catches oiled dead shrimp.

Internal documents from BP show that there were serious problems and safety concerns with the Deepwater Horizon rig far earlier than those the company described to Congress last week. The problems involved the well casing and the blowout preventer, which are considered critical pieces in the chain of events that led to the disaster on the rig.

The documents show that in March, after several weeks of problems on the rig, BP was struggling with a loss of "well control." And as far back as 11 months ago, it was concerned about the well casing and the blowout preventer.

Song of the South -- just lie back and think of Reagan.

And eat hearty, my friends. We all have to do our part as the top of the Gulf food chain to clean up the spill. Pass the toxic chum, please.

I do believe we have a case of criminal negligence and of negligent homicide. Now that corporations are persons, can we execute BP? Actually, I would settle for drawing and quartering Hayward on live TV as an example to corporate CEOs everywhere.

How many times do you suppose BP used this phrase?

"Concerns about well casings and blowout preventers don't make money. Now get back to work or we'll find someone that can do the job."

I'm betting it could be record setting.

As Hayward observed publicly before this all happened, when he took over there were far too many people at BP looking to "save the world."

t.hartmann mentioned there is another nearby rig BP operates that has just as shoddy safety record as the horizon.

gee, that's all we need, another one to go down. obama still handing out waivers to his moratorium?
