Scooby-Doo Villains

Don Blankenship and his merry band of profit-motives:

In a news conference in Charleston, company officials also pointed a finger back at the federal regulators who had repeatedly cited them for safety violations before an explosion killed 29 miners on April 5.

Hey, only 47 of the most serious type of violation orders in the last five months...it's not like there was any wrongdoing on the company's part. Those 52 people who have died on Massey property the last decade, just the cost of bigger bonuses for management doing business.

How much did the Washington Post and David A. Fahrenthold get paid by Massey for this hummer?

Hey Fred Hiatt, that blood won't wash off.

""No hazards were found" by the foremen, said Massey Director Stanley C. Suboleski, who served on the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission under the Bush administration."

And F-you Admiral Inman. A new low in your "career".

"No hazards were found" by your foreman, a former Bush admin appointee to the FMSHRC, who was appointed to protect mine owners at the cost of mine safety... which is WHY YOU HIRED HIM in the first place... to guarantee that no violations would be found...

Massey needs to go directly to jail and forfeit all his worldly goods... the prison he's in should outsource him to work in one of his mines for the rest of his life, with all the "safety precautions" he's afforded his employees.

It's futile to engage in imprecatory prayer when one doubts the existence of anyone to hear them.

Better that Blankenship receive his due in this life from the courts.
