Bill Kristol writes about how he celebrates Independence Day:

The last few years, we’ve spent July Fourth at the house of friends who have had the assembled company read the entire declaration. It’s a longer document than one thinks; the charges against the king take quite a while to get through.

Almost as long as if you, Cheney, Bush and the rest of the worthies are sitting in the Hague, Billy. I would have guessed that Kristol usually spent the 4th firing off illegal fireworks (like Bush tied to various animals) he's smuggled in over the State border. I bet Kristol especially loves these parts of the Declaration:

He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power...

Just like our own George III.

For protecting them, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States

Just like our own George III has done in Iraq.

For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury

Just like George III has done in the GITMO that Kristol loves so much.

He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation, and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.

Hey, Blackwater gives a lot of money to George III...and it's management loves watching you on Fox News Sunday Bill.

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither

I just put this one in to piss off Lou Dobbs.

I have a feeling Bill Kristol and Joe Lieberman also get together on, October 25th, St. Crispin's Day, at Kristol's compound (it's always a compound) and recite Henry V, Act IV, III while playing cowboys & Indians settlers & Palestinians...

And hold their manhoods cheap
